RHB maintains target of 30% rise in new customers by year-end


KUALA LUMPUR: RHB Banking Group is maintaining its target of a 30% increase in customers for the premier banking segment by year-end.

This follows the launch of the enhanced RHB Now Mobile Banking App on Wednesday in Kuala Lumpur.

Executive director/head of group retail banking U Chen Hock said the RHB Now Mobile Banking App was designed especially for RHB Premier customers.

“Since being introduced in July this year, the RHB Premier, has now 34,000 customers from the initial 30,000. With 68% of affluent Malaysians being digital banking users, the enhancement is aimed at enriching RHB’s digital offerings for our customers via the mobile banking experience,” he told reporters at the launch.

The enhanced app has additional features and financial solutions that include market updates, messaging features and lifestyle privileges. - Bernama
