S’pore dismisses Wah Seong application

KUALA LUMPUR: The Singapore High Court has dismissed Wah Seong Corp Bhd’s (WSC) application to set aside parts of the final award issued by the arbitral tribunal in the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris on its dispute with Socotherm SpA.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the oil and gas services group said the result of the setting aside of the application and the final award would not have any significant financial impact on the net profits attributable to owners of the company for the financial year ending Dec 31,2016.
