Digi, Petronas stocks send KLCI deeper into the red


At 5pm, the KLCI was down 1.28 points or 0.08% to 1,651.71 and it was the only market in the red. Turnover was 1.15 billion shares valued at RM1.44bil. Decliners led advancers 444 to 333 while 395 counters were unchanged.

The ringgit weakened against the US dollar to 4.1415 from 4.1305 and slipped against the Singapore dollar to 3.0347 from 3.0301. It rose against the pound sterling to 5.4004 from 5.4562 and firmed up against the euro to 4.6211 from 4.6409.
