DRB-Hicom net loss widens, weak vehicle sales a drag

PETALING JAYA: Conglomerate DRB-Hicom Bhd’s net loss widened to RM169.3mil in the first quarter ended June 30 as compared to a net loss of RM19.7mil a year ago, mainly dragged down by weak motor vehicle sales.

Revenue for the quarter was also weaker at RM2.5bil compared with RM2.95bil in 2015.
