Daya Materials secures three-year Saudi job


KUALA LUMPUR: Daya Materials Bhd, through unit Daya Maxflo Sdn Bhd (DMAX), has received a three-year contract from oilfield services giant Schlumberger to provide specialised well services in Saudi Arabia.

The loss-making oil & gas firm and polymer compound maker told Bursa Malaysia that the contract would start this quarter but it did not give the contract’s value.

DMAX focuses on well intervention, pipe recovery, sand management and production enhancement services.

Daya Materials shares gained half a sen to 8 sen on Monday, with 15.21 million shares traded.
