PETALING JAYA: Peter Bellew’s two most challenging tasks will be to ensure Malaysia Airlines Bhd (MAS) does not ever bleed again and put in place a mechanism for succession planning so that the next chief executive officer after him will be a Malaysian.
Those were the two mandates given to Bellew when the job was offered to him to take over from Christoph Mueller by the board and owner of Malaysia Aviation Group Bhd (MAG) and MAS.
