PETALING JAYA: Barakah Offshore Petroleum Bhd has put in bids for jobs to the tune of RM1.7bil in the local and international markets and secured RM470mil work orders despite the slowdown in the oil and gas industry.
Group president and chief executive officer Nik Hamdan Daud said that the company has RM1.6bil jobs on hand, including the RM470mil from the oil and gas sector to last them till 2018.
