Boost for Bursa Malaysia with listing of Lotte Chemical Titan Holding Bhd

KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has queried O&C Resources Bhd over the unusual market actitivy (UMA) in its share price which saw it rising recently.

The regulator had on Wednesday directed the company, formerly Takaso Resources Bhd, to enquire with the directors, major shareholders and other relevant persons on the reasons for the UMA.

It also queried the company whether there were any corporate developments relating to the group’s business and affairs that has not been previously announced.

O&C Resources is a pioneer manufacturer and exporter of condoms and baby care accessories in Malaysia. 

At 12.30pm, it was up nine sen to 68.5 sen with 20.17 million shares done. Its warrants, OCR-WB was flat at 19.5 sen.

The FBM KLCI was down 0.17 of a point to 1,625.67. Turnover was 978.39 million shares valued at RM798.94mil. The broader market was weaker with 452 losers to 218 gainers and 356 counters unchanged.

Its share price was up nine sen to 68.5 sen with 20.17 million shares done. Its warrants, OCR-WB was flat at 19.5 sen.
