The shares were placed out at RM4.47 a share, which was 10 sen below Thursday's closing price of RM4.57. The shares were traded off-market on Friday afternoon.
TdC said the proceeds from the disposal, which were executed on Thursday, would be used for working capital.
“TdC will realise a fair value gain from available-for-sale reserve equity account to profit and loss of RM157.4mil arising from the disposal,” it said.
It said the cost of investment in the shares, which were acquired in 2008, was RM2.49 per Digi share.
