KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI plunged to a two-month low after falling by 21.58 points to 1,651.14 points at the midday close as Asian equities slumped while gold broke the US$1,300 mark for the first time in 15 months.
As at 12:30PM, total turnover for the KLCI was at 895.73 million shares valued at RM723.15mil.
