Carlsberg still sees growth this year

KUALA LUMPUR: Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Bhd said it will report at least some level of growth in 2016 amid the difficult macro environment that is surrounding the industry.

“We believe we will be able to deliver on growth because we have got good programmes in place, moving forward. We also have Singapore as a part of our business, with good results coming out of that country in the past few years,” its managing director Henrik J. Andersen said at a press conference after the company’s AGM.
