Trading ideas: TH Heavy, M-Mode, Vivocom, SP Setia


KUALA LUMPUR: JF Apex Research expects TH Heavy, M-Mode, Vivocom and SP Setia to be among the stocks to watch on Tuesday after their corporate news.

It said Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd has excluded TH Heavy’s 70% owned THHE Fabricators Sdn Bhd (TFSB), from participating in its future tenders for two years.

M-Mode said it unit M-Mode System Sdn Bhd had received a notice of suspension of services from Celcom Mobile Sdn Bhd. It said the suspension of  the current content mobile platform also impacts all of Celcom mobile content providers. The suspension of the current content mobile platform does not indicate Celcom has suspended the master content provider agreement with MMS.

Vivocom secured two aluminium and glazing works contracts worth RM37.55mil.

SP Setia, the group has confirmed its senior management line up with acting president and chief executive officer Datuk Khor Chap Jen as executive president and CEO, Datuk Wong Tuck Wai as deputy president and chief operating officer, and Choy Kay Yew as chief financial officer, effective April 1.

US markets ended lower overnight after decline in oil prices overshadowed gains in healthcare counters. Earlier, European stocks closed slightly higher despite declines in telecom stocks and oil prices.
 
The FBM KLCI surged 14.69 points to 1,725.24 on continued foreign buying. 

“Following the decline in Wall Street, the KLCI is expected to remain capped below its resistance level of 1,727,” it said.
