KUALA LUMPUR: The slight improvement in the ringgit to the US dollar may be a fresh impetus for local companies to spend again to improve their information technology (IT) infrastructure, said Dataprep Holdings Bhd’s acting chief executive officer Tan Hock Chye.

“A lot of these companies may think of improving their facilities due to the stronger ringgit. We hope to benefit from this trend,” he said at a press conference after its extraordinary general meeting here yesterday.
