REVIEW: Bursa Malaysia kicked off the week on a bullish note, with the FBM Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) jumping a significant 8.91 points to 1,652.65 as investors returned in full force to seek value buys after a devastating outing at the start in the Year of the Monkey, while a big rally in US markets overnight fed appetite for risky assets.
Adding to the upbeat mood, stocks in the region, with the exception of the Chinese market, firmed on renewed interest, tracking the bounce in US equities.
