Lundal: ‘We grew both in revenues and profits, year on year, and won market shares.’

PETALING JAYA: Mobile telecommunications provider Maxis Bhd posted a 38% jump in net profit to RM468mil for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31 compared to the same quarter in the previous year even as competition intensifies.

The company said in a stock exchange announcement that revenue for the quarter was marginally higher at RM2.17bil compared to RM2.12bil on contribution from service revenue, which grew 3.2% despite price-focused competition.
