Contractors face 15% cost hike on new levy for foreign workers

PETALING JAYA: The new foreign worker levy structure is expected to cause an average of 11% to 15% rise in cost for contractors.

According to CIMB Research analyst Sharizan Rosely the estimated impact on the sector’s earnings is expected to be between 2% to 4% per share if there was no cost pass through.
