IN an unprecedented move, Dentsu Utama Sdn Bhd and its representatives have resigned with immediate effect from the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) after the latter unanimously decided to disqualify a number of Kancil Awards won by the former recently on grounds of plagiarism.
In responding to queries from StarBizWeek the agency says it has started an internal investigation into this allegation which is supported by independent legal advice, adding that the conclusion is that such accusations are unfounded.
