THE semiconductor sector will likely see earnings growth sustained in 2016 on strong demand for mobile connectivity and rising 4G network adoption.

Although the volume of smartphone sales is expected to moderate, the sector will benefit from higher content growth that requires more chips to carry out processes and applications.
