SUBANG: Malaysia Airlines’ (MAS) wholly owned premium short-haul unit Firefly is on track to chart future growth, as the airline continues to expand its fleet and add new destinations, said chief executive officer (CEO) Ignatius Ong.

“As of now, the business plans stay,” Ong told reporters while responding to questions about possible changes at Firefly, following the recent appointment of new MAS CEO Christoph Mueller.
