RHB Bank bags three awards

PETALING JAYA: RHB Bank Bhd has bagged three awards at the Frost & Sullivan Malaysia Excellence Awards 2015 - Branch Experience, Contact Centre and Online Experience.

RHB banking group deputy group managing director and RHB Bank managing director Datuk Khairussaleh Ramli said: “The trust and support shown by our customers will continue to be a driving force for all of us at the RHB banking group.”

In the same statement, Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific country head and senior vice-president Hazmi Yusof said branch banking was a closely-contested category, with less than 3% difference between the top and bottom ranked banks.

“This indicates that in a highly-regulated industry with limited number of service providers, there is little room for error in differentiating a bank’s offerings to attract, acquire and retain customers.

He added that RHB was also well ahead in terms of investments to improve the online touch points, with significant enhancements to the website’s security features and the refining of the user interface to make it easy to navigate.

Meanwhile, Mah Sing Group Bhd was recognised with the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Excellence in Growth Building Construction Industry Award.

In a separate statement, Mah Sing chief executive officer Ng Chai Yong said the victory was attributable to the company’s ability at building quality homes.

“The world is constantly changing and as a market-driven developer, it is our trade to stay ahead of the market. We are committed to live up to our brand’s promise, which is to build a premier lifestyle for you,” he said.

Separately, PKT Logistics Group Sdn Bhd walked away with two awards, namely the Malaysia Niche Logistics Service Provider of the Year Award and Malaysia Green Logistics Service Provider of the Year Award.

PKT Logistics group chief executive and managing director Datuk Michael Tio said:“Today, there are many logistics players in the Asean region and most are multinational companies. PKT Logistics is a Malaysian homegrown company and it is ready to be the next Asean logistics service provider in this region.”
