Museums and theme parks ban selfie sticks

This item is now deemed a public nuisance at museums and theme parks.

More and more museums are introducing bans on selfie sticks, with the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum the latest institute to tell visitors they’ll have to check their sticks in at the door.
