Sony confirms upcoming Remote Play feature for PS4

Remote access: The video game console feature allows users to play via a PlayStation Portable or Vita.

Sony is developing a Remote Play app for PlayStation 4, available for Mac and PC users, the company's president announced via a tweet.

"Some people asked if we plan to provide Remote Play function to PC, and yes, we are indeed working on an official application for PC/Mac," tweeted Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony's Worldwide Studios.

The video game console feature allows users to play via a PlayStation Portable or Vita.

Remote Play will bring Sony up to speed with Microsoft, which has already launched its Xbox One streaming feature for Windows 10. — AFP Relaxnews
