Clear federal rules wanted: Volvo wants the US to open all of its roads to self-driving car tests.
At a special event held at the Swedish embassy in Washington DC, the head of Volvo has warned the US that it needs to stay at the forefront of autonomous vehicle development and testing.
Speaking in the US capital, Håkan Samuelsson, president and chief executive of Volvo Cars, called for a single set of nationwide rules and regulations for the development and testing of self-driving cars.
