TOKYO: Nintendo said it swung to US$350mil (RM1.25bil) annual profit thanks to a weak yen and upbeat sales of its Wii U console, but the Japanese videogame giant warned its bottom line would shrink this year.
The Super Mario creator reported a 41.8bil yen (RM1.25bil) net profit for the fiscal year to March – reversing 23.2bil yen (RM699.21mil) loss a year ago – while it forecasted a lower 35bil yen (RM1.05bil) net profit this fiscal year.
