HBO in talks with Apple to launch video streaming service

APPLE'S SHOWBIZ SIDE: Apple will partner with HBO to launch a video streaming service that will coincide with the season premier of HBO's Game of Thrones. Pictured is Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, an actor from the hit HBO series.

The service is expected to launch next month, timed to the season premier of HBO's blockbuster series Game of Thrones, according to the report, which cited sources familiar with the matter.

The service's retail price is expected to be US$15 (RM54.8) a month, the report said.
