Legoland's six theme parks and 11 indoor Discovery Centers around the world will host screenings of a new multisensory animated film inspired by The Lego Movie.
Emmet and Wyldstyle are confirmed for the unnamed 4D film, which is to incorporate wind, water, smoke and lighting effects.
The news came as Legoland operator Merlin Entertainments, a Blackstone Group subsidiary, prepared to present its 2014 Preliminary Results to investors on Feb 26.
Merlin chief executive officer Nick Varney promised an "awesome adventure" created in response to the popularity of Emmet and Wyldstyle at its Lego attractions.
The news also follows the Warner Bros. announcement of Rob Schrab as the director of The Lego Movie Sequel. — AFP/RelaxNews
