MEA CULPA: Marriott loyalty members will be given free WiFi access starting next year.

Marriott has announced plans to provide free WiFi access to its 47 million loyalty members beginning next year, in a move that could be seen as an attempt to mend its reputation and placate disgruntled clients.

Beginning January 2015, the 47 million members of Marriott Rewards who book directly on Marriott.com, on the mobile app, or through a Marriott hotel will be given access to free WiFi across the chain’s 3,800 hotels around the world.
