According to The Verge, which got a copy of the company's marketing materials, Fitbit is soon to be toeing the line of the smartwatch domain with the Surge, due out in the next few weeks along with new trackers the Charge and Charge HD.
The Verge reports that the gadget will be marketed as a superwatch and its capabilities include GPS tracking and Fitbit's PurePulse heart rate monitoring, which will also be available on the Charge HD.
