M'SIAN FAVE: Coldplay rules the world of M'sian Spotify users

Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, John Legend and Taylor Swift are the top five most streamed acts by Malaysian Spotify users. Spotify, a popular streaming service based in Sweden that debuted here back in April 2013, would not provide specific figures.

Sunita Kaur, managing director of Spotify Asia said the service was catching on in Malaysia. She said, “We’re amazed at how passionate Malaysian music fans are about their music. Two million playlists created and 12 million songs played per week speak for itself. That’s almost 70 years of music played back to back every week!”
