WASHINGTON: The popular online review site Yelp and mobile app developer TinyCo have agreed to settle separate charges that they improperly collected children's information online, the US Federal Trade Commission said on Wednesday.
Under the terms of the settlements, Yelp will pay a US$450,000 (RM1.45bil) civil penalty while privately held TinyCo will pay a US$300,000 (RM972,615) civil penalty, the FTC said.
