The next-generation Apple tablet is now in production ahead of an autumn launch and thanks to a new display treatment, it will be easier to use outdoors.
According to Bloomberg, which has been speaking to the company's supply chain partners, the new screen treatment means that there have been production difficulties but that the tablet should be ready to ship either at the end of the third quarter of this year or at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
