Pinterest valued at US$5bil after fresh funding

MORE VALUABLE: Pinterest on Friday confirmed that another US$200mil (RM643.4mil) has been pumped into its coffers to build up search capabilities at the booming, bulletin board-style social network.

SAN FRANCISCO: Pinterest on Friday confirmed that another US$200mil (RM643.4mil) has been pumped into its coffers to build up search capabilities at the booming, bulletin board-style social network. 

The latest round brings to US$764mil (RM2.45bil) the total amount of funding raised by the San Francisco-based start-up and gives Pinterest an overall value of US$5bil (RM16.09bil).
