Fast food giant McDonald’s has brought its iconic mascot Ronald McDonald out of hiding and given him a makeover as part of a major global campaign that will give the historic figure a new role as a social media ambassador.
After years of being sidelined in favour of celebrity endorsers like LeBron James, Justin Timberlake, Kobe Bryant, Usain Bolt, Destiny’s Child and Michael Phelps, the ageless 51-year-old will take the helm of social media channels around the world.
