Ahead of the public opening of CES 2014, LG has presented webOS — the new operating system behind its future connected TVs, which will allow users to download multiple apps and access popular VOD platforms.
Based on webOS, which LG purchased from HP in early 2013, the new system aims to improve the multimedia offer that comes with LG's Smart TV service. A new online store allows users to download apps (YouTube, Skype, Facebook, Twitter), games, and even videos (through Amazon Instant Video, Hulu Plus, or Netflix).
