While an overwhelming majority of smartphone or tablet users engage in risky behavior on their devices — such as making purchases or carrying out banking transactions — only 40% of Android smartphone owners and 42% of Android tablet owners use anti-virus software, according to a study by Kaspersky.
Nowadays, the most common online activities are also some of the riskiest. Across all terminals, 95% of survey respondents reported making online purchases, 91% acknowledged checking their bank account online, and 86% downloading free software.
