A new US study analysing 700 million words, phrases, and topics on Facebook finds that when it comes to status updates, men and women tend to lean on groan-worthy stereotypes.
Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania's Positive Psychology Centre looked at the status updates of some 75,000 US men and women, searching for which words distinguish sex, age, and varying personality types, such as extroverts and introverts, Popular Science reports.
