KUALA LUMPUR: It was a happy return for former BMW Malaysian Open winner Hsieh Su-wei when she upset the formbooks to beat third seed Casey Dellacqua in the first round.

The Taiwanese, who won the Malaysian Open in 2012, racked up a 7-5, 2-6, 6-3 win over the world No. 35 Australian at the Royal Selangor Golf Club on Tuesday.
