Three Malaysians get wildcard for ATP meet

KUALA LUMPUR: Syed Mohd Agil Syed Naguib, Mohd Assri Merzuki and Mohd Ashaari Zainal Abidin have been unveiled as the local wildcards for the US$1.02mil (RM3.23mil) Malaysian Open tennis tournament, to be held at the Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil from Sept 21-29.

The trio, who also featured last year, will kick off their campaigns in the singles qualifying event of the ATP250 tournament.
