PETALING JAYA: World No. 1 woman squash player Raneem El Welily stayed on course for her fourth title of the year after checking into the China Open final in Shanghai.
The in-form Egyptian, who ousted Malaysia’s Nicol David from the top of the women’s rankings, was just too strong for American Amanda Sobhy in the semi-finals on Saturday, winning 11-5, 11-5, 11-9 in the glass court in front of The Bund.
