Nicol firmly in the hunt in Alexandria Open

SINGAPORE: World No.1 Nicol David stormed into the semi-finals of the inaugural Alexandria International Open in her bid to win only her second title of the year.

The 31-year-old Nicol has been shaky in recent weeks and failed to make the final of the British Open last month.
