PETALING JAYA: Veteran Ong Beng Hee served up another solid display to earn a spot in the main draw of the US$150,000 (RM534,000) Tournament of Champions (TOC) in New York.
The 34-year-old Beng Hee, playing in his first competitive tournament since the Men’s World Championship last November, struggled briefly before defeating Egyptian Mohamed Reda 11-5, 12-10, 11-9 in 54 minutes in the qualifying finals on Thursday.
