PETALING JAYA: National No. 1 Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan stamped his mark, beating compatriot Elvinn Keo to win the third leg of the Malaysian Tour squash circuit (SSJM) in Seremban.

The Terengganu-born Nafiizwan, the world No. 33, saw off the challenge of world No. 105 Elvinn with an 11-8, 11-4, 6-11, 11-8 win at the Seremban II Sports Complex on Sunday.

It was the 27-year-old Nafiizwan’s second win in the circuit, having won the first leg in Kemaman, his hometown, in February.

“It was a good win for me as I was playing well. Overall, I was in full control of the final,” said Nafiizwan.

“But I think Elvinn didn’t do so bad either, especially since he took a set off me.”

In the women’s event, South Korean No. 1 Eun Chan-ahn won her second title of the year after beating Norway’s Lotte Eriksen 11-5, 11-6, 11-7.

The 28-year-old Chan-ahn, the world No. 59, was the winner of the second leg in Putrajaya last month.
