KUALA LUMPUR: Seven-time world champion Nicol David was given a run for her money by world No. 10 Camille Serme of France before reaching the quarter-finals of the US Open squash championships at the Drexel University in Philadelphia on Sunday.
The 30-year-old defending champion and top seeded Malaysian won 11-9, 11-5, 11-4 in 36 minutes for her eighth win over the Frenchwoman.
