Shooter Khalel bags double silver in SEASA meet

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian trio of Khalel Abdullah, Liew Tack Fai and Hafiz Adzha blasted their way to a new national record and a silver medal for Malaysia in the South-East Asia Shooting Association (SEASA) Championships in Singapore.

Khalel, Tack Fai and Hafiz combined for 1,664 points in men’s 25m standard pistol to erase the previous tally of 1,663 set back in a local meet at Subang Shooting Range two years ago. Khalel was in the team together with Mohd Ridhuan Mohamad and Khairul Azri Roslan when the previous national mark was set.
