CARDIFF (Reuters) - The final Rugby World Cup pool games were looming on Thursday with two quarter-final spots to be decided and the teams already qualified preparing to try to secure the easiest path forward in the tournament.

Argentina's last-eight place could be confirmed on Friday if Tonga fail to pull off the unlikeliest of bonus-point wins over New Zealand in Newcastle. The Pumas play Namibia two days later.
