JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - Scrumhalf Fourie du Preez faces up to six weeks on the sidelines with torn medial collateral ligaments in his knee in the latest injury blow to South Africa ahead of the World Cup in England.

The 2007 World Cup-winner, seen as a certainty for a starting place if fit, was injured in training at his Japanese club last week.
