Bittersweet feeling for world lawn bowl champ Emma


PETALING JAYA: Emma Firyana Saroji celebrated her world lawn bowls title with mixed feelings.

On Sunday, the 29-year-old policewoman won the women’s singles at the World Champion of Champions in Queensland, Australia. She beat Nici Neal of South Africa in straight sets – 9-3 and 9-8 – at the Helensvale Bowls Club in Gold Coast.
