PETALING JAYA: All eyes were on reigning Asian Games champions Syakilla Salni Jefry Krisnan and Lim Chee Wei to rise to the occasion at the Asian Karate Championships in Yokohama, Japan.
Instead, it was the men’s kata trio of Ricky Leong Tze Wai, Emmanuel Leong and Hoe Thomson who stole the thunder for Malaysia with a silver medal.
