In Sunday’s last 16, the 27-year-old Malaysian put up a gallant fight but lost out to world No. 71 Ian Burns of England. Despite leading 2-1, Chuan Leong failed to make the most it and succumbed to a 4-3 loss (75-29, 54-65, 47-60, 78-41, 125-8, 7-69, 71-6).
