PETALING JAYA: Water skiier Aaliyah Yoong Hanifah failed to finish on a strong note at the World Under-21 Championships after falling flat on her face in the tricks final.
The 11-year-old had made history by becoming the first Malaysian to qualify for the final in Sesena, Spain. But it all went wrong for the double SEA Games gold medallist in the final on Sunday after she accidentally entangled herself with the rope and fell during her second pass.
